Looking glamorous all day long isn’t easy, but it is achievable! Here’s a subtle glam makeup look that you can wear during the daytime for everyday occasions, as well as to an evening event. Enjoy!
Start with the basics:
Begin with a clean base and moisturise your skin with the Liz Earle Moisturiser, as this will act as your skin primer. Apply your foundation.
Focus on the eyes:
Prep your eyes for a bit of glamour by applying the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 in Creamy Beige. This will be your eyeshadow primer, a base which you’ll build your colour up from. Blend your primer in well with a Beauty Blender and set it with a powder to avoid clumping.
Start building up your eyeshadow with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow in Fawn, or Orange Soda. Using a ‘windshield wiper’ movement, sweep your eyeshadow over your eyelids, going back and forth until it’s blended in well.
Next up, take the Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Tango, or a similar rusty brown with red undertones, and apply eyeshadow all over your eyelids with delicate patting motions using a makeup brush. Blend both colours together using your windshield wiper motions again.
Take a dark brown eyeshadow and line your upper lash line as you would apply an eyeliner to give your gaze a bit of dimension. Then line the bottom of your lashes and trace your lower lash line.
Finish off the look by applying a highlighter which contains gold specs to your eyelids, such as Mac’s Global Glow and apply plenty of mascara, I layer up L’Oréal’s Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara.
Back to your face for a moment, apply a dusting of a peachy toned blusher to the apple of your cheeks and then a highlighter, such as the Becca Moonstone Shimmering Skin Perfector.
On to the pout, line your lips with Mac’s Etcetera Lipliner and apply the Mac Lipstick in Freckletone.
