Professional Makeup Artist Kit
My lovely ladies, I am often asked what makeup brands do I carry in my kit, are they the best or not so great etc?
Do I stick to one particular brand I love?
As a working makeup artist I have tried many different professional brands as well as commercial brands and the truth is, I like different products by different brands.
I mainly carry luxurious professional brands and use products that allow me to create an amazing results. In my kit you will find products from: Tom Ford, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, Nars, Sonia Roselly, Chanel, Dior, Lancome to name a few..
Professional brand products are made to last end ensure longevity, different temperatures, different lighting conditions and ensure a phenomenal result at the end of the day.
In terms of Skin Prep my absolute favourites are:
Sonia Roselli Skin care line (I use every single product made by Sonia) as they ensure smooth skin and beautiful finish whether you are 16 years old or a 65 years old. I absolutely love her SexAppeal exfoliator that gently gets rid of dead skin there whilst ensuring the most smooth foundation application. I then follow on with Water Elixir, Water Oil and Water Balm and voila ladies you have that perfect skin.
I also love Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, it really is, a miracle in a jar.
In terms of Foundation I love Illamasqua SkinBase and Fenty Beauty. They are my favourites. They can provide full coverage but can also be sheered out with moisturisers ensuring that gorgeous glowing skin. I would always mix the foundation to ensure the perfect skin match, at the end of the day, none of us are just one colour straight out of the bottle, mixing the colours ensures perfect match.
When it comes to eyeshadows I love using the most luxurious brands such Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona. Their eyeshadows are a winner, hands down, on how pigmented they are and they blend like a dream ensuring that seamless eyeshadow blend. They receive my absolute top marks. They are very expensive indeed but they are worth every penny in my opinion. I carry all the palettes brands have released .
When it comes to blushers, bronzers and highlighters I am a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury Products especially her “Bronze & Glow”. Her bronzer will suit most skin tones as it is not to orange but, it is on the cooler spectrum allowing for beautiful contour and bronze application.
Ladies, I have been told many times in the past by my clients what are the best products to use, as there seems to be an overwhelming amount of makeup available to buy on the market and you are not sure what will suit you and where you should start!!!
