Time crunch: a quick and easy makeup look for when you’re in a rush

Time crunch: a quick and easy makeup look for when you’re in a rush

Whether it’s an early morning rush, or a last minute after work social, there are those days when you just don’t have time to go through your usual makeup routine. Read on to learn how to create this quick and easy makeup look in under ten minutes. Yes, it really is that simple!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow

Rodial Instaglam Contouring Powder

Mascara of your choice

Blusher of your choice

Clear lip gloss of your choice

Here’s how to do it:

Start off by contouring your cheekbones, paying attention to the hollow of your cheek (where they sink in below the raised part). Rodial’s Contouring Powder is a more natural option here, as it’s not too orange and will create a nice and subtle shadow.

Next, contour your forehead, focusing on the hairline to the left and right of your forehead, not the centre. Blend your contouring in well.

Contouring your nose is optional, but it does create a beautiful shadow on your bridge if you choose to do so. Start at the very top of your nose, where it meets the inner sides of your brow and contour down in a straight line on either side. Blend away!

Take your Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow powder and use this as a based for your eyeshadow. Either shadow in the bronzer palette will do. Apply this all over your eyelid and blend (do you see a pattern occurring here?).

Now take the lighter of the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow colours (the highlighter) and highlight  your brow bone, which is the space just above your brow arch. You can also apply a small amount of highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop.

Next up, smoke out the bottom of your eye and apply bronzer underneath your lower lash line.

Finish off your eyes with a slick of mascara to give your lashes a bit of volume and texture.

And for the final part, apply a light dusting of blusher to the apples of your cheeks and a slick of clear lipgloss to your lips. Off you go!
